We are supporting the step-wise implementation of an effective Wind Power Forecasting system in Vietnam by technical consultancy.
The project in a nutshell
The overall objective of this assignment is to provide the Vietnamese regulator and governmental bodies with proper guidance on the effective integration of wind energy sources with special focus on Wind Power Forecasting (WPF), in regards to the ambitious goals set by the Vietnam Power Development Plan 2030. Elia Grid International performs a combination of desk research and participatory assessment involving relevant stakeholders through interviews and on-site workshops. Based on Elia Group’s international best practices, Elia Grid International develops a Roadmap for the implementation of a Wind Forecasting System in alignment with Vietnamese Power Development and Market Reform Plans.
